1. Who We Are

Uplift Coach is an AI life coaching service operated by Benjamin Goldberger. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

2. Information We Collect

When you use Uplift Coach, we collect:

• Telegram profile data: Your Telegram chat ID, username, and display name.
• Messages: All messages you send to and receive from the bot, including coaching conversations, check-in responses, and commands.
• Goals and preferences: Goals you share, schedule preferences, timezone, and other coaching-related information.
• Mood data: Mood scores derived from your messages to track emotional patterns.
• Usage data: Message timestamps, session information, and streak data.
• Payment data: Processed by Stripe. We store your Stripe customer ID and subscription status but never your credit card number.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your data to:

• Provide personalized coaching responses based on your history and goals.
• Send proactive check-ins at your preferred times.
• Track your progress, streaks, and mood patterns.
• Process subscription payments through Stripe.
• Improve the quality of coaching responses.

4. AI Processing

Your messages are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate coaching responses. Anthropic's API does not use your data to train their models. Your conversations are processed in real time and are not stored by Anthropic beyond the API request.

5. Data Storage

Your data is stored in a secure PostgreSQL database hosted on Railway. We retain your data for as long as your account is active. After subscription cancellation, we retain your data for 30 days before deletion.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share data only with:

• Anthropic: Message content for AI response generation (not used for training).
• Stripe: Payment processing only.
• Telegram: Message delivery through the Telegram Bot API.
• Railway: Infrastructure hosting.

7. Data Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) for all data transmission. Database access is restricted and credentials are stored securely as environment variables. While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, no system is 100% secure.

8. Your Rights

You can request a copy of your data or request deletion at any time by contacting us through the Telegram bot. When you cancel your subscription, your data is automatically deleted after 30 days.

9. Children's Privacy

Uplift Coach is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify active subscribers of material changes via Telegram.
